A tall girl was standing alone atop a hill. A storm was certainly brewing; every now and then the sky woulder light up as lightning streaked through the clouds. It wasn't long before that the wind had increased as well, much more than a slight breeze. All the girl seemed to do was gaze longingly into the distance, waiting for something to sweep her off of her feet and away from all of her problems. The girl herself was plain, but her personality was not.
Ambrosia snapped out of her little trance and turned back to her house. Her parent's house. Luckily for her they were out of town, and this time they didn't hire a baby-sitter for her. It was rather annoying that they thought she wasn't able to fend for herself. She was a grown woman who had some issues with the spirits of her dead siblings. That was normal nowadays, wasn't it? Peter seemed to think so.
The girl began to walk slowly back toward the lonely house. It was more of a prison than a home, but the idea of it didn't really bother her. She didn't have to pay for anything and everyone else dubbed her as a freak of nature.
It was kind of nice being a freak. No one was rude and everyone pitied you. A quiet life it was and some people would love having it, but Ambrosia still wanted to try to lead a normal life with a dash of adventure here and there. Edvin often argued that she simply had to lose her temper more often. The idea frightened her. She didn't want to be more of a beast than she was already perceived as.
Opening in the door, the slim girl went straight to the piano. As her fingers hit the keys, lovely music filled the air. Music was how Ambrosia vented. It usually chased her negative sibling-spirits away and brought out the best in the two positive ones.
It was a drag being followed and nagged by dead siblings, but it was the life Ambrosia had to lead. She didn't have another choice. [/blockquote]

Keaka Senka tightened his cloak around him as he walked out into the sunlight. Squinting his eyes as the brightness, he made his way forward, aimlessly. He had been raveling for days now, and he was just about sick of it. It wasn't that he was tired, no, he could withstand weeks of traveling. It was more of he grew tired of seeing the same things over and over again. A tree here, a tree there. A pond and a meadow. It was always the same. He was quickly growing bored of this. He needed something new and interesting before he went insane. Well. More insane than he already was, that is.
Taking a breath in of the clean, crisp air, Keaka ventured onward untill he heard something in the air. It sounded like a piano.... and that it was. There was someone living way out here? That must mean that there was a town somewhere nearby. Towns ment humans, and humans ment free lunch! Keaka smiled at the thought since it had been quite a while since he had anyone to eat.... This was a perfect chance. He decided that he would start with whoever was playing the piano. They sounded happy.... but he was positive that they wouldn't sound that way for long. reajusting the hood on his head, he continued walking untill he reached the house that was emmiting the music. Not bothering to knock, the shadow slipped into the house silently and followed the sound of the music.

As soon as Jeffery and Bea appeared atop the piano, they vanished. Their sudden disappearance alerted Ambrosia to another presence in the house. Not long after the two positive ghosts disappeared, Edvin appeared before her, a smug grin firm on his face.
This time you have to listen to me. There is a creature in this house. He's here to harm you. You need to find something to defend yourself with, and figure out a way to be rid of a demon. May I suggest one of the books in mother's wardrobe? Edvin, a boy who appeared to Ambrosia as being a fifteen year old, ran his fingers through his hair and disappeared as quickly as he had came. Marisole, seeing the issue, took her spot at the piano and made it so the piano continued to play, seemingly by itself.
No one could see her sibling spirits but her. Thank God.
Ambrosia took Edvin's advice to heart and walked upstairs to her mother's bedroom, hauling a large book out of the old wardrobe that creaked every time you opened the door. The young woman wasn't stupid; she flipped right to the page where the demon information was and waited, watching the door for any other sign of the intruder Edvin had warned her of.
Being how she was in appearance, she herself appeared to be a spirit. Not only was she devastatingly skin, she was tall and very pale. It seemed like one ounce of sunlight would be the end of her white skin, but that was not so.

Keaka followed the noise untill he reached a room with a piano in it,which seemed to be playing by itself. Cursing to himself, he left the room without another thought. There was something sstrange about this house. Something was off. Then again, Keaka didn't care in the least. He was quite used to 'unnormal' and 'disturbing' things, and he was mainly focused on finding a meal. He continued to search the house for any living being that had a soul.

Footsteps. She heard footsteps. Ambrosia was plum tuckered out from just sitting there on her mom's rickety old bed. Standing up impatiently, she wandered back downstairs where she laid eyes on the creature that Edvin had warned her about. Marisole stopped playing the piano, and Edvin appeared beside her.
You were supposed to have something to defend yourself with, moron. Ambrosia looked at her ghost brother and shook her head, gesturing to the book in her hand. "Here."
She hadn't meant to speak. Truly, she hadn't. Though she didn't seem why something like that would matter now anyway. Whoever this guy was, he wasn't welcome here. It was high time she got him out of her house and reclaimed it for herself. Who did he think he was?
"Why are you here?" Her voice was soft and delicate, similar to her build and her appearance. "I've nothing you can take." Where the words were coming from, she had no clue.

Keaka just got done serching the kitchen and was about to move onto the next oom when he heard a voice. Looking at the girl, Keaka smiled. "Oh, so you decided to show yourself. Good. That makes thing a heck of alot easier. I was starting to wonder if i was going to have to search the whole house. As for why I am here, you probably don't want to know. Then again since you asked so nicely, I might as well tell you. I am here because I am hungry. And it just so happens that you are the first person I found. Congradulations, you are about to have your soul eaten." All the while, Keaka had a grin on his face and he let the hood of his cloak drop.

Told you he was dangerous. I say, you'd best use that book well, sister. Edvin chortled with laughter and Ambrosia's nostrils flared with her temper. There was no need for him to be such an ass, and there was no need for this man to 'eat her soul'.
"Why, sir, I'm afraid that's impossible. One does not simply eat my soul. Not with all of the things I have going for me. You couldn't afford the trauma you would suffer. Just ask my book." Ambrosia's tone was matter of fact and stately. She was quiet as usual, but her sincerity and expressionless stare made her seem like a bit of a creep.
The next words that flew out of her mouth were well-practiced latin, a language that was all too effective when it came to your average hungry demon. "Repellere, tueri, salutem." Repel. Protect. Safety. The words were filled with the magic Ambrosia possessed; things were going to be interesting with the book she held in her hands. She had never done this kind of thing before...
