Time Period

The time period isn't obvious with the current plot in use, but Daunting Destiny takes place in the mid-Baroque period.

This means:

• No electricity
Lanterns and fires are used for lighting.
• No automobiles
Horses and other animals are the main means of transportation.
• No running water
Streams, rivers, and wells are still in use.
• No heating
Fire places are used for heating purposes during the winter.
• No modern clothing!
This might sound weird to some, but people 'back in the day' did not wear jeans and button down shirts.


Clearly you can use modern terminology in your writing. A couch can still be called a couch. That is all. c;
