The young Lord Savis
(art by unknown)
It all makes sense, you're the perfect person
So right, so wrong
Let's all live in your imaginary life
Tell me a bit about yourself...
Name:: Aluin Savis
Gender:: Male
Age:: 23
Race:: Elf
Affiliation:: The Riders; isn’t a rider himself but does help them out as much as he can.
Looks are not everything...
Height:: 5'11"
Weight:: 150
Hair Color:: Dusty blond
Eye Color:: Brown
Skin Color:: Tanish. Under all the dirt, of course.
Body Structure:: Closer to an average human bone structure than an elven one. He’s a bit bulkier than his kin but still has the exotic features and is identifiable as an elf.
Clothing/Other:: He’s almost always in his armor, which is made of a mixture of leathers and metal plating, especially on parts of him that would be vulnerable to attack when firing a bow. He doesn’t usually wear anything else, and when he does it’s usually a sign that his armor is being repaired or there’s some formal event that he’s forced to attend.
People can be altered...
Likes::
- Freedom
- Kindness
- People making up their own minds
Dislikes::
- Nobility
- Laziness
- Anywhere where he feels trapped
Personality:: Being raised to be his father’s pawn left some marks on him. While not a fan of politics he’s able to navigate around them with some ease and has a long memory. He notices lies and remembers how to analyze what one is saying to make sure it isn’t something that’ll end up biting him in the behind.
He likes to think that those things benefit him, as well as some of the other things his father thought to teach him. The main one was to be a gentleman, of which he truly is, and is able to communicate and charm most he encounters.
With a strong sense of wrong and right, Aluin is kind and helpful to most because he wants to think most of the world isn’t like this father. He also valued free will, even if that will goes against his or what he believes in. He believes people should be able to make up their own minds and not have someone raise them into something they aren’t.
My life the blank page in a book...
Parents:: Lord Savis (father, currently alive, age unknown, and probably dying from his own body fat content) and Lady Savis (mother, deceased).
Birthday:: May 3rd
History:: Aluin knows the meaning of corruption. Growing up as the heir and only child to an elven lord and the only son the lord could have (due to medical problems and that his wife perished giving birth to said heir) he was raised in a gilded cage. The servants were told to raise him a certain way and in the meantime his corrupted father tried to get more gold for himself.
It was as Aluin grew that he took an interest in archery and combat, in which his father humored him with the alternative motive that it would make him look good. His tutor, however, turned out to teach him more than just combat. He entertained the boy’s questions about the outside world and other people and essentially led to the boy’s greatest trait. His kindness.
A young man of eighteen when he confronted his father about wanting to leave and when denied Aluin left anyway, only taking the family ring with him. His father’s lies and trickery went further than he thought; apparently he’d been promised to someone most of his life and was never told about it. Truly raised to be a pawn and a grab for power.
His first mistake had been thinking all were as nice as his mentor. The first group of humans he encountered, while still wearing very elvish armor and carrying very elvish weapons and having pointed ears, attacked him and in his ignorance allowed them to pin him down, thinking it was some human custom to dog pile the new guy. They cut the pointed tip of one ear off before he got the sense to push his attackers off and run.
After recovering and having plenty of time to think things through, he decided his best bet would be to find the Riders and offer to help them. He would be safe, no one he formerly knew would think to look for him there and he could hopefully help the order out. They welcomed him and he rarely leaves.
